Gordon Brown’s Saviour – and it’s not Jesus

without comments

Looks like 2009 will be the year that this globalization thing really gets a role on. At this time, much of the world is looking for a Saviour. Sadly, the only saviour they’ll be offered by Gordon Brown and his cohorts is “Globalization”,  or in Gordons words “a new world order” – FTW

British Prime Minister sells globalization as the saviour

British Prime Minister Gordon Brown has called for a new Bretton Woods system, saying that the financial crisis should be used to make world leaders agree to fresh rules and regulations under a long planned new global financial order.

“Sometimes it takes a crisis for people to agree that what is obvious and should have been done years ago, can no longer be postponed,” Brown told an audience earlier today.

Speaking at Thomson Reuters’ editorial headquarters, Brown called for “a new financial architecture for the global age”, stating that the Bretton Woods system devised after the second world war was out of touch with the new world order.

Brown said: “This crisis demonstrates beyond doubt that a global capital market requires much stronger global cooperation and supervision. And we need to ensure that we have an effective global early warning system to alert us across continents to economic and financial risk.”

Brown contended that the current financial system is “too clouded with opacity, conflicts of interest, irresponsible risk-taking, and when problems occur countries have tended to look inwards and deal with them in isolation when it is clear they should look outwards and join in international co-operation.”

“We are proposing a world leaders’ meeting in which we must agree the principles and policies for restructuring the financial system across the globe,” Brown added.

His speech came after the UK government announced it would bail out three high street banks – RBS, HBOS and Lloyds TSB – to the tune of £37bn. Since that announcement, shares in the banks have plunged on the stock market.

Brown’s call echoes that of elite figures such as CFR member Jeffrey Garten and Timothy Geithner, president of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, who have both recently called for a “new global monetary authority”, a de-facto global financial dictatorship, operating across borders and forcing nations and corporations to register and adhere to strict monitoring and regulations.

The call is also similar to plans recently touted for a new centralized system of financial supervision across the EU providing greater regulatory powers.

Global, Global, Global.

with 2 comments

Something has changed in my little world, our little world of late. Perhaps not significant enough for many to notice, but I can’t help seeing it. It’s not in your face obvious, but never the less, a subtle and significant change.

It’s a change of language, a change of context, it’s a foundational change and preparing the way, so to speak.

No longer do we talk of a  recession for Australia alone, but it’s a global recession. No longer do we talk in terms of the number of unemployed in a national sense alone, but now the media reflect the data from a global perspective.

How many times just this week have I heard it, we expect a decline in global employment of some 50 million in 2009.  Article link

The financial crisis is no longer a financial crisis which effects Australia alone, now it’s a Global financial crisis.

It’s no longer climate change which will effect our nation but, Global warming, and the cost of reducing green house emissions is reflected in a global economic cost.

We talk about global trade, global growth forecasts, global markets, global jobs crisis, global carbon trading scheme, global trends, global economic data, and so the list goes on. Perhaps you can think of a few more.

New world order, it’s pretty much here. We’ve got the language in place, we’ve got the people of one mind, we just need to follow up with a few further changes to complete the picture.

People get ready, there’s a train comin, don’t need no ticket, to get onboard!

“World Trade Collapse” says IMF

with 2 comments

The title of this news story caught my eye in The Australian yesterday, 29 Jan 2009.  It’s not so much the story as it is the title of the story, as the title itself,  “World Trade Collapse, says IMF”

Seven years ago, sept 2001, the “World Trade Centre” collapses as a result of terrorism. Now some 7 years on, to the month, and we see a “World Trade Collapse” for the months immediately proceeding Sept 2008.

7 years! Co-incidence?

I’m pretty sure that when the Dow Jones index fell by some 777 points, the largest one day fall ever, on the day “Rosh Hoshana” 29 Sept 2008, it was no co-incidence.

777 points!

I’m also fairly sure that when George Bush Senior announced the “New World Order” exactly 10 years to the day, prior to the 911 tragedy, it was no co-incidence, and in the same way a “world trade collapse” some 7 years on from the “World Trade Centre Collapse” is no co-incidence.

I’m not saying men have planned it this way, but clearly there is a process unfolding in our day, a process instigated by men, which is being directed from beyond the realm of mere mortals, as if working to a heavenly timetable.

People get ready, there’s a train comin’, don’t need no ticket, just thank the Lord. (I just had that song in the back of my mind whilst I was typing these couple of posts)

The commerce connection

with one comment

You may wonder what commerce has to do with the kind of things I write about on this blog. Allow me to explain.

If you have been a regular reader of my ramblings then you will have noted ongoing references and posts pertaining to wealth, to financial prosperity and materialism, and how these things seem to relate so predominantly to the end time kingdom of “Mystery Babylon”. But also their relationship to the to the end time “falling away or apostasy” as well as what some say is the end time church, the 7th church of Revelation, the “Laodicean, Lukewarm, I’ve got everything I need church”

The word commerce has several meanings, but the meaning which most would equate the word with is this : a system of trade, of buying and selling of merchandise, on a large scale between places, communities or nations.

The kingdom of Mystery Babylon for example, is equated with being a significant commercial entity, of employing the “great merchants of the earth”.  She exports her wares throughout the earth and is no doubt a significant commercial entity, so here is the commerce connection.

But there is also another meaning to the word commerce which most would not equate  this word with, and perhaps you may be surprised to see it used in the sense that I will shortly explain.

It was when reading the book of Ezekiel recently that this word “commerce”  struck me. In the book of Ezekiel the Lord declares the reason for the sin of the king of Tyre, as being related to his trade and commerce. Some also equate this scripture with the fall of Lucifer, whichever the case, God equates the sin and judgement with “commerce”, the abundant trade, that filled the heart with pride and then violence.

Ezekiel 28: 16 “When your commerce grew, you became filled with violence; and in this way you sinned.

I’ve often wondered why so few biblical teachers talk of it, commerce that is, and the inherent dangers thereof. How often I’ve thought of King Solomon and His great wealth and the commerce which ensued, and in this Solomon, the wisest of men stumbled.

The Messiah did not hesitate to declare the dangers of mammon, the deceitfulness of riches, yet today I hear little talk of such. He warned His followers about the dangers of greed,  idolatry,  covetousness, against living and labouring as the world labours,  of the desire to follow after the things which satisfy the flesh.

Also the biblical history of the Jewish people is a testimony of a people who were often more concerned to chase after their commercial interests, those who provided for their wants and needs. To partake of commerce with their lovers. (Hosea 2:5)

The warning throughout history to the people of God has been and still is, not to partake of the worlds values, to be separate, to come out of  “Mystery Babylon”. Mystery Babylon the great commercial entity.

So that’s why you may or may not be surprised to see that one of the definitions of the word commerce is exactly how I believe Christ would see it,  “sexual intercourse”. I was surprised when I saw this but I’m pretty sure this is no accidental meaning.

You may think it a little odd, to describe those whose primary goal is commerce as being likened to partaking of sexual intercourse, yet this is exactly how I believe God saw it with His first covenant people, and He still sees it today Christian.  In my nation, in my culture, in my generation, men are more often concerned to buy and sell, to labour, to trade, to create wealth, to accumulate material comforts, more than they are concerned about serving God with all their strength.

Today even much of the church refuses to speak against “commerce” and the inherent dangers therein.  In my church, undertaking the activity of the pursuit of wealth, sadly, is not frowned upon, but rather welcomed and encouraged.

I’m pretty sure that the reason  “Mystery Babylon” has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird! is because she foolishly trades with all the nations of the world, she undertakes the activity of commerce with all of her strength. She like Solomon, has invited in gods which are not gods, all for the sake of commerce and the resulting profit. When one utilises all of ones strength to serve self interest and commercial interest, I’m pretty sure the scripture says that God will hand that one over to the desires of their heart.

As Solomon also allowed gods that were not gods into the temple, so do the nations and peoples of Mystery Babylon. Mystery Babylon, who was once a golden cup in the lords hand, a people God held to be valuable, precious and something He cherished.

The more I understand about this age, about Mystery Babylon, the more I am convinced that the act of coming out of her, is indeed to be likened to ceasing from the act of sexual intercourse with the world, before she reaches her commercial climax. Perhaps we are at that point right now, perhaps that is indeed what we are seeing unfold in our day. The financial judgement of Mystery Babylon. If it is, then there must be a further completion of this judgement to follow shortly.

Christian take care, God is not mocked. As you sew, so shall you reap.

Galatians 6:7-8 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.
For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.

Adding to the noise

One of the first and most profound changes in my life at the time I was “born again” is what I would call a hunger.  I gained a hunger to know God, to know His word, His people, understand biblical history, you name it. I was consumed and consuming whatever I could get my hands on.

As a young Christian I was incredibly grateful to have so much biblical information at my fingertips. What a tremendous blessing it was to have a Christian radio station with good biblical teaching, television evangelists preaching the word of God, even if it meant getting up at 6am to watch. It was like entering a new world.

No longer would I have to, as the generations before us have had to “wait upon the Lord”. Now if I needed to hear from God or learn something I could dial Him up on the web, switch Him in on the radio and receive my spiritual nourishment from another source.

There are many pluses for growing up a Christian in my generation, however I believe that there are some serious disadvantages as well, most of which your average popular pastor or teacher is reluctant to tell you about, for fear of becoming redundant.

The apostle Paul foresaw our day rather clearly, when he wrote to Timothy :

“2Ti 4:3,4 A time will come when people will not listen to accurate teachings. Instead, they will follow their own desires and surround themselves with teachers who tell them what they want to hear. And shutting their ears to what is true, will be turned away to belief in foolish stories.

I see it like this. We have grown impatient in our “instant” generation, not willing to wait upon the Lord, we feed on the word of God as delivered via a third party. We become microwave Christians, instant Christians, like instant mashed potato, just mix with water and Wallah.

The tragedy is that the day Paul spoke about, the teachers appointed by the listeners to speak their popular messages which offered to satisfy their itching ears, well that’s our day. We’re it bro, sis, we’re in the middle of this stuff, like no generation before us has been, were surrounded by it.

The tragedy is that so many of us build our house on someone elses gospel. So many of us swallow some foundational teaching that is shaky, then build our houses on it.

I’m going to tell you what perhaps some pastors don’t want to tell you, especially the ones making a good profit on their latest release teaching. Go listen to God for yourself! You’re born again aren’t you? You can hear from God too!

You can read can’t you? Well read His word and pray about it.  Go, and pray and wait upon the Lord. I’m pretty sure that He said that He would lead you down paths of righteousness, if you would listen, if you would abide in Him.

At the risk of sounding like a hypocrite. The stuff on this blog, maybe it’s helped you, maybe it’s just adding to the noise out there in Christian Blogsville. I’d really rather you read stuff on this blog and pray about it. Let the Lord direct your understanding.

That doesn’t mean you are to be a loner though. God desires to work in and through you and the lives of other believers, that together we might bless each other with encouragement and understanding.

All I’m saying is that I’d feel much better if I knew that the Lord was the one leading you, not my blog or the million other blogs out there, which in my humble opinion are often like “noise”, opinions running in all sorts of directions on many different subjects.

Maybe I’m piking out here, but I don’t want to be the fall guy for anyone who stumbles reading my blog. Maybe I’m just adding to the noise. God knows, ask Him!

Quote for the day

with 3 comments

There is something perverse about more than enough. When we have more, it is never enough. It is always somewhere out there, just out of reach. The more we acquire, the more elusive enough becomes. –Unknown

This is certainly something I’ve found true of my life, like why is that? We always seem to think we need more, we don’t have quite enough. Then when we get more, we still don’t have quite enough. Like a destination to which one never arrives.

The scriptures are clear “godliness with contentment is great gain” 1 Timothy 6:6

Flee the values of this generation Christian!

God’s veggie garden

with 8 comments

Some of my most intimate times with the Lord occur in the most unusual of places. For me, the vegetable garden has become one of those places. A place where I often sense that still small voice of God attempting to help me understand what He’s doing in our lives.

I am in awe of the way in which the little seed brings forth such beautiful fruit. I bite into a fresh picked plum and think, how the heck does God make something so delicious out of dirt?

I tend the tomatoes, weed the beds, prune back the lemon tree, all of these things I do, and I assist in this work, but God brings the growth. He brings the increase, I’m just a part player, a co-worker in this veggie garden of mine, His.

Until yesterday I had been bearing patiently with all long suffering a humble squash plant. It was large in size, looked healthy enough, but since the day it first produced fruit, the fruit has always split and gone rotten before it had ripened. I’ve fed it, I’ve sprayed it, I’ve fertilized, I’ve tended to it for three months now and no change.

Yesterday with great delight I tore that squash plant out of the ground, having granted sufficient time to produce good fruit, now the time of grace had passed. No longer would I expend time, effort and energy on something which had looked promising, yet constantly failed to produce any good fruit.

In that moment, as I tore the plant from the soil, I sensed the word of the Lord, from Matthew 7:17.

Mat 7:17 “Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.
Mat 7:18  “A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit.
Mat 7:19  “Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

I guess the scary part for me was that I took great delight in tearing that unfruitful squash out of the ground. Now the soil, that piece of ground would be made available to another plant, something able to produce good fruit for harvest. No longer would I have to look upon that squash plant with a sense of hope and expectancy, and find myself continually disappointed.

I wonder, does God think like this?  Indeed he who Christ considered greatest amongst men, John the Baptist, earnestly believed that the Lord of Glory was such a God, who had an expectation that the earth would prove fruitful , and this belief John asserted with the following statement :

Luke 3:9 And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.”

Perhaps it was just me God was talking to in that moment in the veggie garden, perhaps He is not well pleased with my fruitfulness, perhaps He was simply reminding me of the consequences of failing to bear good fruit in my own life. I’m not sure, but either way I was reminded that God has an expectation that we will prove to be fruitful in Christ.

How do you, or how do I know that we are truly disciples of Christ. How do we know we are not just kidding ourselves, living a make believe fantasy life of religiosity.

Here is the answer! Disciples bear fruit for Christ, good fruit. This is how you shall know them, by their fruit.

Jhn 15:1 “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.
Jhn 15:2 “Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away;[fn1] and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.
Jhn 15:3 “You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.
Jhn 15:4 “Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.
Jhn 15:5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.
Jhn 15:6 “If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.
Jhn 15:7 “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will[fn2] ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.
Jhn 15:8 “By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.

Warming to “the mark”

with 9 comments

In the news this week I saw the following story “tracker for kids in lost shops”.  It seems like an obvious answer to assist in alleviating the fears of parents who become separated from their children, just strap on an electronic tracker.

Considering the Westfield Corporation is now building 17 Hectare shopping centres, I guess some parents have cause to be concerned at locating a lost child in so large a shopping centre.

Interesting how technology is gradually adopted into a society, just a step at a time, we welcome it in with open arms. Offered to us by large corporations, playing on the fears of individuals, and justifiably so, one may well argue. But ultimately a generation will exist that sees no resistance to adopting personal locating devices and tracking systems. In fact it will be the norm.

These things are all wonderful at this time. The countless security cameras around the UK, estimated to be around 4.2 million, great! The electronic ID devices in passports, great! The fingerprint systems in public schools, great! It’s all just great whilst ever we live in a culture where personal freedoms are generally respected.

Imagine if Germany in the 1930s had been graced with the technology we have today. No Jew, not one, would have escaped the clutches of the evil empire. There would have been no place to hide.

Rev 13:16       And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
Rev 13:17       And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
Rev 13:18       Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number [is] Six hundred threescore [and] six.

The propaganda war – Israel and Gaza

without comments

Their movies are more entertaining than Hollywood, and every bit as realistic. They deliver entirely plausible scenarios presented to you as truth. So convincing are their actors that Western media lap it up and dish it out as truth, in the evening news.

Who or what am I talking about? No it’s not Hollywood, nor India’s version, Bollywood, but a new player in the world of entertainment, Pallywood. Yes in spite of the deprivation of their people, the so called oppressive policies of a Zionist regime, the hunger and helplessness of an utterly oppressed people, the Palestinians manage to run a flourishing movie industry, dishing out directed and scripted videos as truth to western news media. Pallywood, the Arab propaganda machine for the world.

How long will the western media put up with this rubbish. How many more evening news stories must we endure, in which I see a poor helpless child being carried out of a waiting ambulance. A poor wounded child in the arms of a loving Palestinian father, one who teaches his children to sacrifice their life to kill Jews. Head bandaged, spatter of blood across the forehead, yet the child looks surprisingly peaceful, not overly alarmed by the significant injury sustained. But then I realise, chances are that this child is just a bit player in a scripted plot. Though the parents and surrounding adult bit players are rather convincing, so often the child is less able to carry the role amidst the turmoil.

Do you remember not so long ago the supposed Israeli attack on Lebanese Red Cross ambulances, remember the world outcry, the shock the horror and the condemnation. But do you also remember that it turned out to be a hoax. The whole story was concocted and 2 old vehicles were dressed up to look like Red Cross ambulances and then had holes punctured through their roofs. Or Perhaps you may remember seeing the injured Palestinian man fall from the back of the ambulance, then get up and walk away. It was like a Pallywood blooper. Then of course there was that infamous scene of a Palestinian father and son, trapped by Israeli gunfire behind a barrel. Media reported that the boy was killed by the murderous IDF. In hindsight it all turned out to be another scene from a Pallywood movie. No one could locate the dead boy, and no video footage actually showed him being wounded, and there was no gunfire from the IDF to boot.  see vid below.

Perhaps I should take a moment to say that there is indeed a terrible tragedy playing out in Palestine today, and no doubt civilians are suffering, including children. Perhaps the greatest tragedy however is truth. The overwhelming weight of oppression for Palestinians today comes as a result of their self appointed leadership, Hamas and Fatah. Neither of which can agree on anything except their hatred of Israel. Perhaps it’s time Palestinians recognised that they are being played off, used by their Arab brothers in a much bigger game. They are the front line in a war of hatred against Israel. The big players, Syria, Iran, the guys with the money and the know how sit quietly, nestled peacefully away from the Israeli war machine, whilst their brothers, their children, their mothers and wives are asked to sit on the front lines of a war of hatred, which they instigate, they direct, and fund.  Hell will be too good a place for some.

Yes the whole situation is sad, but my issue is more so with Western media, who swallow this Pallywood stuff wholeheartedly.  We saw it in 2006 with Hezbollah and the Lebanon war. We saw how soft, clean, fluffy teddy bears were strategically placed in sight of the media, atop destroyed buildings. How heart wrenching it all seemed, until someone actually realised that something didn’t look right with that whole scene.

But I have to ask the question, why do we in the West continue to swallow this anti-Semitic stuff, unquestioningly?   The only answer I can find is that Western media organisations are often Anti-Semitic themselves. No doubt they would deny this till the cows came home, but truth is never to be found in what people say. Truth is to be found in what people do, and when western media continually spoonfeed their viewers Arab propaganda without any real concern for truth, they show their true colours.

I lament, maybe I’m reading this all wrong, maybe they’re just plain stupid! We’re stupid!

Pallywood is a latter day invention of the war on truth. It is the Arab propaganda machine that seeks to instill Anti-Semitism on a world wide scale. The media is a key player in this whole end-time scenario. Sadly they are without understanding and do not realise that they are simply being used by the “prince of the power of the air”, to do his satanic bidding.

Christian, believe not everything that you hear from Mystery Babylon, she is a liar and deceiver granted great authority in these last days.

The following two videos,  make for some interesting viewing. They outline in more detail some of the news worthy events perpetrated by Pallywood.
