Oswald Chambers was alive during WW1, the Lord took him to Zeitoun in Egypt aftern having him run a Bible School to send people of God into the world. One of the things I remember reading when the Lord first brought him to me, was that it is during the difficult times like war, financial difficulty, trauma of losing friends, family etc, that we find out whether we have put our faith in a creed (what we believe) or in God, and it often takes for the Lord to take us to those very heart of those places to find out. Creed or God? It is only when we are faced with the full realisation that our creed can't and won't save us, that we are truly able to fling ourselves fully on God and get to see ourselves in the fallen state we are and realise that we are lost without him, that He gets us to a place where we learn to trust Him for His outcome for our lives. It is the most wonderful day in anyone's life when they find out that there is much more to God than they originally believed or were led to believe. Coming back to the mark of the beast - One thing that is really mindblowing for me right now, is that I have a distant cousin who is a scientist, works in Canada, and who has been involved with the development, for many years, of the chip that gets inserted into our skin to identify us - I'm sure you know the one I am writing about. Him on one side and me on the other. God's grace in the situation is so incredibly humbling... Bless you Hi Tim
