Financial Meltdown – New World Order – Mark of the beast
Those of us with an interest in the financial turmoil unfolding in our world in this day will no doubt be wondering where it will all end up.
When I first studied the many theories of new world order adherents, I wondered if it was possible that such a great conspiracy could have been agreed to by so many. Conspiracy theories which declare that a small group of powerful and influential leaders are wielding such influence that they are able to direct the affairs of the whole earth. For a long time I read these many theories and then pretty much left the cause.
However of late I am drawn back to rethink what is actually going on. I am astounded at the way in which so many nations are agreeing to and acting in a similar way to protect this system which we call the “Global economy”. As if following the script of a great “new world order” novel, the nations are arrayed together with a common cause to uphold the “system”. This is all fitting so beautifully into the theories of new world order adherents. Men of like mind with common vision, gathering together to form a global plan to uphold their self interests, with little concern for the injustice, greed and theft that has got us to this point.
It’s then that I realise exactly what is going on, this is a scripted program!
But it’s not scripted by men, but rather by the one who influences the thinking of unregenerate men “the prince of the power of the air”, the dragon of revelation 13, who gives power to the beast.
It is the dragon (satan) who seeks to gather the nations together, to bring them to a common mind and purpose. To ultimately place exceeding great power into the hands of a few. To the world it looks like a good plan, it looks like a righteouss plan, it looks like a plan of great vision. A plan to uphold those things we value and believe in, it looks like heaven on earth. It is the fulfillment of the vision of many men, to create heaven on earth and comes with a bonus to boot, God is not to be found in it.
Ultimately when power is in the hands of a few, it shall be totally corrupt, as history so often teaches us “Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely”
When the world is trembling from threats of war and threats of economic meltdown, from fear of famines and pestilences of global warning, the common vision of the new world order which seeks to uphold this world and improve it will seem like the obvious choice. Who wouldn’t want to maintain it, protect and ensure this world continues at any cost. A grand plan even now is being formed to ensure that this order is maintained, this order which men have strived for, generations have fought and lived and died for, with the underlying threat that if we do not follow the common vision, we shall surely perish.
Out of this new world order vision which even now is reaching it’s fulfillment, comes a better plan for a better economy, one which does not have the failings of the old economy. One which will be regulated to the degree that men can no longer buy and sell without approval. To buy or sell in the new world order will require you to use the approved financial currency, a mark of the beast. We are nearly there already. I suspect Gold and Silver and precious metals, anything which allows men to trade outside of the system will be outlawed. Anyone who seeks to trade using other forms of currency will be frowned upon.
Christian, what will you do? Are you willing to tow the line of this new global patriotism? A patriotism which gives it’s allegiance to the dragon.
On the issue of the “mark of the beast” I think what I have come to understand is this. It will be like a wedge which divides the righteouss from the wicked, we will be shunned, unable to do those things which the world does, isolated, forced to retreat to a position where once more we rely upon each other, to share things in common, to meet the needs of our brothers in the midst of terrible oppression and persecution. The church will leave this world in a similar and glorious fashion by which she came into being.
Faithful unto death!
Rev 13:7 And the Beast, whos power comes from the dragon, was further permitted to wage war on God’s holy people, the saints, and to overcome them. And power was given him to extend his authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation.
Christian, what are you holding onto in this life? what will prevent you from forsaking the the ways of this world in the days ahead? Where is your comfort? your strength? your hope? In whom shall you trust in the day of trouble? Now is the time to let go of the love of this world. She offers you no eternal hope, no eternal dwelling, no promise of true rest, the things which your souls longs for………
Revelation 12:12b Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.”
When you see these things happening Christian, look up for your redemption draws near.

As I see the day approaching, I am trying to encourage my family to rest in the Lord, as He is their ONLY hope. I am but a failing, fleshly man. We are trying, on my one income, to prepare for disaster, but, again, our ultimate hope is God alone.
The corporate church we left recently has gone into fear mongering mode, talking about getting property and putting up supplies and arms for the time to come. I believe it will do no good, because the technology our government has can track any group down fairly quickly. (Even Saul knew which houses to go into to haul men and women to prison for believing in Christ!)
I would much rather starve than to be a friend of the world, have my belly full, and be counted an enemy of God!
Lord, help us to stay faithful and true!

Hi Tom, Sorry to hear that the church you left is intending to the very things the world would do, it’s very sad. Wako Texas is probably a good example of what not to do.
You are spot on about the technology thing, hiding from the prevailing authorities will be virtually impossible.
I think staying in fellowship with like minded believers is, and will be incredibly important for us in the days of trouble.

Instituting the mark-of-the-beast system could come after the “not … a dollar of coin or currency in circulation” scenario envisioned by Robert Hemphill, Credit Manager of the “Federal” Reserve Bank of Atlanta, who stated:
“If all the bank loans were paid no one would have a bank deposit and there would not be a dollar of coin or currency in circulation. This is a staggering thought. We are completely dependent on the commercial banks. Someone has to borrow every dollar we have in circulation. If the banks create ample synthetic money, we are prosperous; if not, we starve. We are absolutely without a permanent money system. When one gets a complete grasp of the picture, the tragic absurdity of our hopeless position is almost incredible, but there it is. It is the most important subject intelligent persons can investigate and reflect upon. It is so important that our present civilization may collapse unless it becomes widely understood and the defects remedied very soon.”.

Many serious questions above which deserve prayerful seeking.
Oswald Chambers was alive during WW1, the Lord took him to Zeitoun in Egypt aftern having him run a Bible School to send people of God into the world. One of the things I remember reading when the Lord first brought him to me, was that it is during the difficult times like war, financial difficulty, trauma of losing friends, family etc, that we find out whether we have put our faith in a creed (what we believe) or in God, and it often takes for the Lord to take us to those very heart of those places to find out. Creed or God? It is only when we are faced with the full realisation that our creed can’t and won’t save us, that we are truly able to fling ourselves fully on God and get to see ourselves in the fallen state we are and realise that we are lost without him, that He gets us to a place where we learn to trust Him for His outcome for our lives. It is the most wonderful day in anyone’s life when they find out that there is much more to God than they originally believed or were led to believe.
Coming back to the mark of the beast – One thing that is really mindblowing for me right now, is that I have a distant cousin who is a scientist, works in Canada, and who has been involved with the development, for many years, of the chip that gets inserted into our skin to identify us – I’m sure you know the one I am writing about.
Him on one side and me on the other. God’s grace in the situation is so incredibly humbling…
